Who are they?

The SISU Ski Fest (SSF) was chartered in 2010 as a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting silent sports with emphasis on cross-country ski racing and generating economic activity in the Ironwood area. The SISU Ski Fest manifests these goals.

What is it?

Cross Country Skiing Races: 42K, 21K, Taste N Tour, 5K, 3K, and 2K. The 42K and 21K are Birkie Qualifiers.

Snowshoe Events: 10k, 5k, and 2k

When?

The second Saturday of the New Year, for 2014 it is Jan 11th

Where?

The "Finnish Line" is on Aurora Street in Ironwood, MI and the Ski Expo is being held at the Ironwood Memorial Building on the Friday before the race as well as race day. See website for more info.
