Just wanted to quickly tell everyone that a new section has been added to the website to showcase the nightlife of the area.
Regardless of the route that you drive, you have a great chance of hitting a casino or two on the way up. If you end up driving north on 35E (from St. Paul/Minneapolis area) you can certainly hit Grand Casino Hinckley or Black Bear Casino. However, if you prefer the more scenic drive through Wisconsin there is LCO in Hayward, WI.
Once you arrive, Bad River casino is just a quick 30 minute drive west on Hwy 2 from 802 Sno Use / Big Powderhorn Mountain. If you are looking for a casino to the east, you have Lac Vieux Desert Resort and Casino roughly 50 miles away.
Ironwood has some great options for eating and drinking. Most of the options are along Hwy 2, but don't forget to hit some of the hidden gems in Downtown Ironwood.
What can I say....Hurley does a really good job of putting the sin in Wisconsin! Now if that isn't what you are into, that is ok. Hurley has tons of options for a good time. Most importantly, once you are downtown everything is walking distance!!!
More information, reviews and content to come!
