The mystery of The Paulding Light
Since Halloween is nearing us, I thought you would like to know that there is a world renowned spooky event occurring in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Paulding, Michigan, is a small town in the Upper Peninsula known for a mysterious light display that occurs along a stretch of Highway 45. Interestingly, Sleepy Hollow Road intersects with this stretch of Highway 45. Even though there have been numerous paranormal investigators and even the Ripley’s Believe It or Not team have examining the area, no agreeable explanations for the phenomenon have ever been found. Locals say the small spherical lights of white, red, and green are the ghosts of a railroad worker who died while trying to switch the tracks.
At one point, Ripley’s Believe It or Not offered $100,000 to the person who could solve the bizarre light phenomenon. While students at Michigan Tech believe they have solved the phenomenon, they still disagree amongst themselves as to what scientific explanation would best describe this occurrence.
My best suggestion is for you to go check it out for yourself and experience this very unique occurrence that is continually mentioned all over the web. After your visit, come on back and tell us all about it.
